Features of magneto-optics of dichroic cholesteric liquid crystals

In this work, magneto-optical properties of a dichroic cholesteric liquid-crystal layer are theoretically investigated at large values the parameter. Features all solutions dispersion equation studied in detail. Peculiarities reflection, transmission, absorption spectra and influence dielectric boundaries on them investigated. Specific localization light magnetically induced transparency liquid crystals considered. The study features showed that presence an external magnetic field, as well boundaries, led to appearance oscillations dependence intensity layer-confined energy coordinate axis directed along axis. A strong refractive index isotropic half-spaces adjacent crystal optics under consideration is shown. particular, diffraction transmission appear only certain intervals half-spaces.
